Across all mediums within my practice, my aim is to create artwork as a form of documentation: both of my everyday life and internal world. Through use of bright colors, angular depictions, and invented spaces; I intend to break the expectations of my medium. Simultaneously mending the gap between illustration and traditional oil painting. Above all, my paintings are a whimsical take on the world that surrounds us, a celebration of the mundane with a desire to fill the world with color.
